Does caramelizing banana make it last any longer?

I wanted to make the banana on a cake last longer (but without using banana chips), and I wondered if caramelized bananas lasted any longer?
I should say, not just last longer looks-wise, will caramelizing them prevent them becoming mouldy as fast?

Also, do banana’s go black in the fridge?

It will stand for 3 Days or 7 days. Same way any caramelizing will lost for 7 days only. After that Taste will change, slowly white fungus will comes and water wozed out.
